Depopulation of Kurdistan

Iraqi regime and Turkey, in particular, have been using genocide campaign against Kurds by deporting Kurds after destroying their villages and small towns as an excuse of existing insurgency or guerilla activities in their areas.
They relocate Kurds forcefully in remote areas of mostly populated Arabs and Turks.
This assimilation reduces Kurdish population in Kurdish areas which causes Kurds lose contacts with Kurdistan and make them lose their identities and existence after one or two generations.
In Iraq, the regime had been replacing Kurds with Arabs in the territories which is still under their control like Kirkuk, Mosuel, and Khanaqeen.
The same is true in big Kurdish cities of Diarbeker, Mardin, Batman, in Turkish occupied Kurdistan.
